Founded to Answer the Call Rural Illinois Was Missing
Stark County Ambulance was founded to fill a gap most people don't think about until they need it, paramedic-level response in rural counties big-city services never reach in time. What started with one station in Toulon is now eight, positioned inside the areas they cover from Stark County to Champaign–Urbana, so crews know the ground before the call comes in.

One Standard, Eight Stations, No Exceptions
The reason we can promise the same quality of care in Bradford that you'll get in Urbana isn't luck, it's structural. Every crew trains under the same clinical protocols, carries the same equipment loadout, follows the same dispatch standards, and reports to the same operational leadership. Consistency across eight stations is a design choice, not an accident.

IDPH-Licensed Provider and Fleet
State-licensed as a transport provider, with every ambulance inspected against Illinois equipment and staffing standards.
Illinois Critical Care Authorization
A separate state authorization for ICU-level transfers. Most ambulance services don't hold it.
DEA Controlled Substances License
Required to carry controlled medications. Our ALS units are registered and licensed for it.
Department-Approved EMS System
We run under a Resource Hospital and EMS Medical Director, your hospital's protocol structure.
