911 Emergency Response Across Central Illinois
Primary 911 provider for the Bradford, Buda, Galva-Bishop Hill, Lafayette, Toulon, and Wyoming-Speer fire districts, paramedic-staffed units, stationed locally, integrated directly with county dispatch.
We Live in the Districts We Cover
Stark County Ambulance is the contracted 911 provider for six fire districts across Stark, Marshall, Knox, and Henry counties. Our crews are stationed in Toulon, Bradford, Wyoming, and Galva, not dispatched from a hub forty minutes out. They know the county roads and the farm addresses. And when one unit is committed, the next closest is still ours.

Who We Serve
Stark County Ambulance provides contracted 911 emergency response for the fire districts, communities, and county dispatch centers across our Central Illinois coverage area.
Fire Departments & Mutual Aid Partners
Staffed ambulance support and mutual aid solutions that strengthen response capacity and operational readiness.
Cities, Villages & Townships
Reliable emergency medical coverage for communities without dedicated ambulance services, ensuring consistent access to high-quality care.
County 911 Dispatch Centers
Direct integration with dispatch across the counties we cover, so unit status and response times stay visible in real time.
Hospitals & Emergency Dep.
Medical transport and EMS support that enhances emergency department intake and patient flow.

How a 911 Call Becomes Patient Care
Four steps from tone drop to hospital handoff. Every call, every district, the same sequence.

Step 1
Dispatch Activation
Emergency calls are routed through local dispatch agencies to Stark County Ambulance units.
Step 2
Rapid Response
Our crews respond immediately with fully equipped ambulances staffed by trained EMTs and paramedics.

Step 3
On-Scene Assessment & Treatment
Medical teams assess, stabilize, and treat patients using advanced protocols and diagnostics.
Step 4
Transport & Hospital Handoff
Patients are transported safely to the most appropriate emergency department with clear communication to hospital staff.

Clinical Capabilities on Every 911 Unit
Every unit answering a 911 call carries the same clinical capability. No tiered response, no waiting on an intercept from a neighboring agency.
Paramedic-Level Staffing
Every 911 unit is staffed with a licensed paramedic. Advanced care is the baseline on our trucks, not an upgrade you hope is available.
Advanced Airway Management
Endotracheal intubation, supraglottic airways, and rapid-sequence protocols where authorized. Airway is the first priority on all emergency calls.
Cardiac Monitoring & 12-Lead ECG
Continuous monitoring, 12-lead interpretation, and manual defibrillation, with early STEMI notification to the receiving facility.
IV Therapy & Emergency Medications
Full pre-hospital medication library for cardiac, respiratory, pain, and diabetic emergencies, under standing medical director orders.
Trauma Stabilization
Hemorrhage control, spinal motion restriction, splinting, and rapid packaging for trauma center transport when minutes decide the outcome.
A Trusted 911 Partner to the Districts We Serve
Stark County Ambulance was built for communities that shouldn't have to wonder whether an ambulance is coming. Local stations, one clinical standard, and long working partnerships with the six fire districts, the hospitals, and the county dispatch centers we answer alongside.
